Our linen has an open weave that allows for excellent airflow, comfort and natural breathability, and is capable of rapidly absorbing, yielding and wicking moisture, to help regulate body temperature.

We have designed our range to last and ensure comfort from your very first sleep. At 165gsm, our linen is the optimum weight for a long life span, with immediate softness. When cared for, linen can last years. Flax yarns increase by 20% in strength on wetting. It’s designed to improve over time, getting softer and more durable with every wash.

Linen is a naturally sustainable fibre. Our 100% French flax linen is retted in fields, using only sun, dew and rain to detach the fibrous skin from the central wood, rather than a chemical process like other linens in market. The entire plant is harvested – root to tip. It is all organic, biodegradable, recyclable and GMO free. An all round environmentally friendly winner.

Our linen is sewn by a small, family run factory in PRC. The brand was founded in Byron Bay, Australia by two lifelong friends, introduced by their Mother's at birth. Of The Sun is now thoughtfully lead by the stepmother of the original Co-Founder's daughters and loved by customers globally.
