Our linen is grown in France and designed in Byron Bay. Using less water and energy than any other fabric, flax is a sustainable crop. The entire plant is harvested – root to tip. It is also biodegradable and recyclable – an all round, environmentally friendly winner.
Your new sheets and bedding are pre-stone washed, and will become softer and more breathable the more that you use them. If you are hanging out for softness and just can’t wait, add a cup of white vinegar to your rinse cycle to create instantly soft, luxurious linen sheets.
Linen comes with inherent natural crinkles, which creates that perfect ‘bed undone’ look and beats ironing.
French Flax Linen is naturally temperature regulating to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer, making it comfortable all year round. Our linen has an open weave that allows for excellent airflow, preventing heat from getting trapped, keeping you cool throughout the night.
Linen is highly hygroscopic, and can absorb up to 20% of its own weight in moisture while still feeling dry, fresh and cool to touch. Our French Flax Linen bedding is capable of rapidly absorbing, yielding and wicking moisture, to help regulate body temperature and keep sweaty sleepers dry.
When linen fabrics are in contact with the skin, the nodes along the length of the fibre absorb perspiration, then swell and release the moisture to the outside air, creating a fabric self cooled by evaporation.
Linen is non-static, non-allergenic, naturally insect-repellent and gives UV protection. It resists allergens, bacteria, and dust mites, making it ideal for sensitive skin and allergy sufferers. It is also virtually lint free.
